Levels 4-6

The class time is increased at this level in order to incorporate Pilates, strength training, pointe work (by discretion of the instructor), variations, adagio, character, and partnering.

Character dance is integral to much of classical ballet repertoire. It is the stylized representation of a traditional folk or national dance, normally from a European country and uses movements and dance which have been adapted for the theatre.
